The 3DO Interactive Multiplayer (or just 3DO) is a video game console made by Panasonic in 1993. It was one of the first CD based game consoles. Are you looking to run the games on an emulator? I haven't done 3DO emulation because I own a FZ-1 deck but I think the emulators can use the disk images without having to burn a disc. You could also just mount the.bin file with Daemon tools or something.
STATUS: - ATI: GREEN - NVIDIA: GREEN - GMA: GREY Application Description: 3DOplay - 3DO Interactive Multiplayer emulator based on freedo. Personal Notes: A good 3DO emulator that is still being worked on (to my knowledge). Plot: Depends on the game you play.
Port Info: CXS Ebony Port Wine 1.2 - For Mac OS X 10.4.11 / Mac OS X 10.5 Leopard / Mac OS X 10.6 Snow Leopard Wineskin 2.5.8 Wine 1.4.1 - For Mac OS X 10.6 Snow Leopard / Mac OS X 10.7 Lion / Mac OS X 10.8 Mountain Lion / Mac OS X 10.9 Mavericks Application version = 1.8.2 Minimum System Requirements: - OS: Mac OS X 10.4.11 Tiger + - CPU: Intel Core Processor - RAM: 1024MB - Video: nVidia 8xxx Series or AMD 3xxx or 4xxx Series Video Card recommended - about 175 megs of Hard Drive Space required for the Application + whatever space for your Roms. Known Issues: Not all games are compatible the emulator. If someone has a list to share - or post their experiences that that would be great. Following games I have tested: 3DO interactive Sampler Disc 1 - not working Alone in the Dark - working Corpse Killer - working Gex - working Plumbers Don't Wear Ties - working The Need For Speed - working Wing Commander III - not working - plays but video scrambled Installation: Mount the.DMG Drag the 3DO Folder to your Application Folder (or wherever) - Eject this disc image - open your Application folder and click on the 3DO Play.app to play. I have not included any games.
To play a game add the games.ISO (or.BIN) and.CUE file to the Games folder - launch the 3DO Play.app Also please note - that is Application has not been tested on a Macintosh with a GMA 950 Chipsets - though it should work. How do I download from linksave?
- See @ Download Links: Screenshots: Application Videos: Gameplay. I am unable to add the iso files to the game folder, i keep getting the message that 'the alias games could not be opened because the original item cannot be found' Please advise Thanks I think you just have to copy it over. But what I did was open package contents and make a link to the games folder in the drive:c folder. I put new bios in the bios folder too.
And installed a new quartz because it said it needed x11. But when I open it on 10.6.8 I just get the wineskin app with no window that says 1.8.2 any ideas? I think I had it working easy on 10.7?
Need to get a dual boot going and do some tests. The older one doesn't even launch on 10.6.8.
